The Department for Local Economic Development performs the activities related to:

– Planning local economic development;

– Development of strategic documents for the development of the municipality;

– Development of projects and programs for local economic development;

– Development of projects for regional economic development in cooperation with other municipalities in the region; – Support the development of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship at the local level;

– Establish and develop a local network of institutions and agencies and promote partnership;

– It also performs other activities that will be placed under its authority by an act of the Council or the Mayor of the municipality.
